Christie Delgadillo (23:39) and Teddy Sleep Jr. (19:57) led the way for the Bishop Diego cross-country teams Thursday, but the Cardinals failed to advance into CIF competition at Thursday’s Frontier League finals held at St. Bonaventure High School.
Both teams finished in fourth place, with the boys missing out on advancing by just one point.
Trent Speier was the second Cardinal in on the boys side with a time of 20:06.
