Hannah Denitz had 22 assists with eight digs and two kills on Tuesday, but the Carpinteria girls volleyball team couldn’t avoid a sweep at the hands of No. 3 La Reina. Game scores were 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.
Carpinteria falls to 3-9 overall and 1-7 in Tri-Valley League play. The Warriors will play St. Bonaventure on Tuesday.
