Jackie Gregoire came in for a singles set and won 6-0 as the San Marcos girls tennis team downed Oxnard 12-6 on the road Monday.
“The matches that we lost were close and the matches that we won tended to be by a lot so it was a good day,” said coach Kara Warkentin.
Julian Mannix and her sister, Caitlin, both fought hard against Oxnard’s top singles player, with Julian losing in a tiebreaker and Caitlin losing 7-5.
