The Cate Rams girls tennis team had little trouble with Dunn’s Earwigs on Wednesday, cruising to an 18-0 Condor League victory.
Singles player Carryn Barker and the doubles tandem of Annelies Northup and Nikita Kokal led Cate (3-3) in its league opener.
Several student-athletes made winning debuts on the varsity team. Sophomores Kate Donahue and Isabelle Spears saw action in singles and the Rams also unveiled two doubles teams in Megan Falvey-Kasey Oopik and Liana Corwin-Alexx Temena.
The Rams host Pasadena Poly on Saturday at 2 p.m.
