Laguna Blanca (5-5, 3-2 Condor League) picked up an easy 15-3 win over the Dunn Earwigs Wednesday to clinch a spot in the CIF playoffs.
All of the Owls’ starting teams went undefeated, and all are healthy heading into a rematch with rival Cate at Pershing Park on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
Cate beat Thacher in games on a 9-9 tie, and Laguna beat Thacher in the same fashion, meaning that it should be a close match in which the Owls will try to clinch a share of the Condor League title.
“It’ll be a close one and a big match for us,” said coach Geoff Pryce.
