Thia Laurain and Olivia Fanaro each shot rounds of 43 at par-35 Buenaventura Golf Course Tuesday as Santa Barbara High beat host Ventura easily, 237-271.
“Thia is really coming on strong late in the season, and Olivia has just been consistent all year long,” said coach Ryan Throop.
The Dons are now 11-2 overall and 4-1 in the Channel League. They take on Buena on Thursday before battling San Marcos and DP next week. The Royals and Dons are currently vying for the second spot in the league.
