Without Amy Logan in tandem with Amy Sagraves as usual, the lineup for the Dos Pueblos girls tennis team was a bit shaken up. Shaken, but not stirred.
Senior captain Erica Cano, normally the No. 1 singles player, shifted over to Sagraves’ side and the pair won two sets to lead DP to an 11-7 non-league win over Santa Ynez on Friday afternoon.
Lauren Stratman and Hayley Edwards won five sets between them on the singles side to give the Chargers the boost they needed to get their 17th win.
Dos Pueblos’ seven-game win streak will be put to the test on Tuesday for the season’s second clash between the Chargers and Division II’s No. 1-ranked team in Santa Barbara.
