Coach Dwayne Hauschild said that Sam Wopat had an outstanding all-around performance and that Paige Crane dished out a heap of nice sets in Dos Pueblos’ 25-16, 25-20, 25-22 win over Buena on Thursday.
“We got a really good, enthusiastic effort from Kate McDonald and Sophie Harris tonight also,” said Hauschild. “If we can take care of what we need to take care of against San Marcos next week, it’ll set up the ultimate showdown.”
He was referring to the Chargers’ matchup against Santa Barbara at J.R. Richards gym next Thursday, in which the Chargers will be playing for the outright title in the Channel League.
