After a competitive first set, Carpinteria girls volleyball coach Katie Dolge said her team “gave up” in a 25-19, 25-11, 25-9 loss to La Reina.
“Our communication went away and I could tell some people were getting really frustrated. We could have had a much better match,” said Dolge.
The Warriors (1-4, 0-2 TVL) get back on the horse in their own tournament this weekend before taking on St. Bonaventure next Thursday.
