Everyone was a winner for the Dos Pueblos girls tennis team in its 17-1 demolition of Ventura in its Channel League opener on Tuesday.
Charger doubles ran the table as the reliable tandem of Amy Logan-Amy Sagraves ran their record to 17-1 on the season by going 3-0. Melissa Dahl-Anna Slyutova also went 3-0 and the teams of Oriane Matthys-Nicoletta Bradley and Sofia Pasternack-Nicole Eskenazi platooned in a 3-0 result in the No. 3 slot.
No. 1 singles player Erica Cano ran her individual record to 16-1 on the season. Freshman Lauren Stratman, 3-0 against Ventura, was back in the lineup after missing Friday’s match vs. Mira Costa — DP’s only defeat this season — while playing in the No Quit Tournament in Las Vegas. Stratman came home with a championship trophy in the girls 14s.
The Chargers (5-1) play Buena at home on Thursday.
