The San Marcos girls tennis team (3-1) struggled on the road at Santa Ynez, losing a 9-9 tie in games, 76-73.
“I’m not going to lie. It was ugly,” said coach Kara Warkentin. “But it gives us something to work on in the coming week.”
Caitlin Mannix and Kiki Katsev each went 2-1 in singles, while Amy Ransohoff and Christine Pearson teamed up for a 2-1 performance in doubles.
