Sam Boysel scored three goals as the Royals picked up a win in their first match in San Marcos’ new pool by trouncing St. Joseph 16-1.
”It was a good way to start,” said coach Jeff Ashton. “St. Joseph is just starting their program, but our guys were able to work on some things and did well. It was our first game in the pool so it was nice to get a win over there.”
Ben Kilpatrick, Tyler Lisea, Billy Stevens, Andre Rivera and Abel Hamilton each scored a pair for the Royals, while Michael Spackman had seven saves and Travis Johnson added five.
