The San Marcos girls tennis team swept in doubles competition to edge Laguna Blanca 11-7 despite missing top singles player Julian Mannix.
“Our doubles were good, and they had good singles players,” said coach Kara Warkentin.
Esther Tran Le went 3-0 as did Liza Fletcher for the Owls (1-1).
San Marcos (2-0) opens up Channel League play when it hosts Buena on Tuesday.
