SANTA CLARITA — SBCC couldn’t get the job done at the end of games on Tuesday night and was swept by Canyons 25-22, 25-21, 25-19 in a nonconference women’s volleyball match.
“We played well, just too many unforced errors down the stretch,” said Vaquero coach Ed Gover.
Sam Potter led SBCC (1-7) with 12 kills while Angelica Smith and Tara Ahern contributed three blocks apiece.
The Vaqueros will be at home Friday and Saturday night against Bakersfield and Cuyamaca, respectively. Both matches start at 6 p.m.
