Emily Fox earned medalist honors with a 3-over 38 at Buenaventura Golf Course on Tuesday as Dos Pueblos posted a 203-291 blowout of Ventura.
All five DP scores were within five strokes of Fox’s, showing good balance for the Chargers (5-1, 1-0).
“It was a pretty good scoring day,” said coach Rob Schiff. “What kept us from a really low score was that pretty much everyone had a double bogey. We’re trying to get below 200.”
DP hosts Buena at Glen Annie on Thursday.
