Dos Pueblos kept up its dominance of Ventura County on Thursday. With victories over Thousand Oaks, Oxnard and Ventura already in the bag, the Chargers had little trouble stuffing Buena into the same sack.
DP ran its Channel League record to 2-0 with a 17-1 victory over the Bulldogs at home.
It was nearly a clean sweep in singles with Erica Cano and Lauren Stratman leading the way. Shelbi Nigh and Christina Daniel each won a set giving the regulars a spell.
Doubles didn’t drop a set. Melissa Dahl and Anna Slyatova went 3-0 in a full days work. No. 1 doubles, Amy Sagraves and Amy Logan, won two sets before Rashi Singh-Megha Manjanuth took over and won another. Sofia Pasternack-Nicole Eskanazi didn’t start, but swept its two sets.
