Santa Barbara Aquatics Club was well represented at the 2011 MPSF water polo championships held at UCLA this past weekend.The club also has a presence at this weekend’s Division I NCAA Championships at UC Berkeley.Danny White (SBAC/Rio Mesa) and Parker Peterson (SBAC/SBHS) are juniors at Pepperdine who both played for the Waves at the MPSF tournament. Gauchos split Saturday at UC Irvine Invitational

The No. 15 UCSB Gauchos (9-4) faced No.4 California (11-2) in the round of the UC Irvine Invitational on Saturday. The Golden Bears were able to take advantage of multiple UCSB fouls and pulled away in the second half for the victory, 10-6.
