SBCC rode a balanced attack and 13 service aces to a 25-15, 25-19, 25-17 women's volleyball sweep of Cuesta on Tuesday night in the Sports Pavilion.Freshman setter Kelsey Soos had six aces and Emilia Shugrue collected 10 kills and two aces for the Vaqueros (16-2, 5-1 WSC North), who've won 16 of their last 17 matches. Vaqueros hold it down at Sports Pavilion

Freshman Antonia Antes collected 10 kills Friday night and No. 7 SBCC survived a set point to sweep Hancock 25-10, 27-25, 25-10 in a women's volleyball match at the Sports Pavilion. The Vaqueros (13-2, 2-1 WSC North) boosted their home record to 9-0. Hancock fell to 4-8 and 1-3. Nicole Bergmann and Jessica Tune added nine kills apiece with Bergmann hitting .412 and Tune .333.
