The doubles team of Cooper Matthieson and Graham Maassen from Santa Barbara High advanced to the Round of 16 of the CIF Individual Doubles Tournament on Thursday after winning their Round of 32 match in straight sets on Thursday at the Whittier Narrows Tennis Center.Matthieson and Maassen swept Jon Jason/Drew Freeman from Beverly Hills, 6-4, 6-3. Grant, freshman doubles push Dons past 2nd round

Santa Barbara tennis progressed through the second round of CIF playoffs in dramatic fashion after beating Marina High 10-8 on Friday.The Dons began the day slow, finding themselves  down 1-4 with one match to go in the first round. It was up to Chris Grant to trigger a comeback for Santa Barbara. Dons complete perfect Channel League schedule

Santa Barbara tennis finished the Channel League regular season undefeated after beating Ventura 15-3 on Tuesday.Dons doubles went 8-1 for the day, and the singles ended up 7-2 to complete an 8-0 league season. Santa Barbara tennis clinched the outright Channel League title in Greg Tebbe's first year as head coach by defeating Dos Pueblos 11-7 on Thursday.Santa Barbara improves to 7-0 in Channel League. Santa Barbara tennis was one point away from sweeping Buena on Friday, winning 17-1.Dons doubles swept Buena and earned 9 points. Duo Mitchell Kuhn and Penn Stussy went 3-0 and led the way for Santa Barbara.Dons singles were one point shy of the sweep. There wasn't much movement at the top of the CIF polls released Monday, as Dos Pueblos and Santa Barbara girls volleyball, Dos Pueblos boys water polo and Santa Barbara girls tennis all went unchanged.Dos Pueblos is No. 1 in Div. Nguyen earns U.S. Open berth for doubles title
