Saraceno’s week deemed best in country

Following the best week of her career, the accolades continue to pile up for UC SB women’s volleyball player Rebecca Saraceno. ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - In its first match of the 2009 season, the UCSB women's volleyball team opened the year in style with a convincing three games to one victory over Portland State, an NCAA Tournament team a season ago.UCSB won by scores of 25-16, 25-21, 23-25 and 25-18 in the opener of the MCM Elegante Lobo Classic, held at the University of New Mexico's Johnson Center.
