Cardinals knocked out after slow start

The Bishop Diego boys basketball team was unable to overcome a 15-point first-quarter deficit at Citrus College against Ribet Academy and lost 79-65.The Cardinals finished the season with a 14-13 overall record after an 8-2 Frontier League finish, which landed them in second place. Cardinals hold strong in fourth quarter

Villanova briefly grabbed a fourth-quarter lead from Bishop Diego's boys basketball team on Friday, but the Cardinals used two clutch 3-pointers from Elias Munoz and Nolan Tisdale to regain control and capture a 50-42 Frontier League victory.Munoz finished with 27 points to lead all scorers.
