UCSB not one of 64 in NCAA Tournament

UCSB women's volleyball team did not receive an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament on Sunday when the 64-team field was announced.The Gauchos won seven of their final eight regular season games and finished second in the Big West with an 11-5 conference record. Gauchos finish conference play, win sixth straight

RIVERSIDE - It's official. The UCSB women's volleyball team is on a roll.The Gauchos won their sixth straight match, easily dispatching UC Riverside 25-18, 25-18, 25-19 on Saturday night.With the victory, the Gauchos put the NCAA Tournament squarely in their sights. Gauchos win at Pacific in five sets

Canadian volleyball standout signs with UCSB

UCSB women’s volleyball head coach Kathy Gregory has signed one of Canada’s top hitters to a National Letter of Intent, the team announced on Wednesday. Taylor Pischke, who hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, will join the Gauchos for the 2011 season.
