UCSB women's volleyball team did not receive an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament on Sunday when the 64-team field was announced.The Gauchos won seven of their final eight regular season games and finished second in the Big West with an 11-5 conference record. UCSB women’s volleyball head coach Kathy Gregory has signed one of Canada’s top hitters to a National Letter of Intent, the team announced on Wednesday. Taylor Pischke, who hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, will join the Gauchos for the 2011 season.
