Rachel Smith scored once and helped create two other goals for Dos Pueblos' girls soccer team on Wednesday, as the Chargers defeated Santa Ynez 3-1.Smith's goal was a quick strike soon after the opening kickoff. Dos Pueblos had a chance to share the Channel League girls soccer title with perennial league champion Buena on Thursday.But a slow start cost the Chargers, as they allowed a goal in the sixth minute and wound up losing 3-1 at Buena.“The kids were nervous,” DP coach Jose Guerrero said. “As soon as they hear Buena, they’re shaking. San Marcos suffered a double blow on Tuesday.
