This weekend Santa Barbara will not only host the best collegiate soccer teams in the nation but the city will also play host to the best high school boys soccer teams in California. Perez sets up both goals in DP victory

Vicente Perez assisted on two highlight-reel goals to lead third-ranked Dos Pueblos to a 2-1 win over Newbury Park to remain undefeated in boys soccer.Kyle Schmechel timed his run perfectly, met a cross from Vicente Perez and powered a header from 18 yards into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute.Newbury Park tied the score on a penalty kick in the 38th minute.The game-winner for DP came in the 58th minute. DOWNEY - For a team that somehow kept extending its season game after game, Dos Pueblos' run is finally done. The Chargers, who won time and time again this postseason when few thought they would, made it all the way to Saturday's Division-I CIF SoCal Regional final as an unseeded darkhorse from the Southern Section's Division II.In the end, Paramount got the better of the Chargers, winning 2-0 at Warren High School in Los Angeles to claim the CIF Regional title.
