Danny Zandona struck out 12 Righetti batters and reliever Lucas Benenati fanned two more as Santa Barbara defeated the Warriors 6-3 in a Central Coast Classic baseball game Thursday at Eddie Mathews Field.Zandona gave up eight hits, “which is uncharacteristic for him,” assistant coach Mike Cooney said. “His control was very good. The Santa Barbara baseball team kept knocking at San Marcos' door on Tuesday, putting runners on at least second base during each of the first five innings.
