Bishop Diego's Nicole Poindexter and Carpinteria's Kelsey Drain posted impressive scores in multiple events at the historic 2012 Russell Cup.Carpinteria hosted the Russell Cup for the 93rd consecutive year, making it the oldest track and field tournament in California. Maranatha won the boys competition with 88 points while Paraclete took the girls meet with 63 points. Cate School hosted the Condor League's first track meet of the season on Wednesday, bringing together the Rams, Thacher, Ojai Valley School and Cornerstone Christian.Cate had several multiple event winners on its boys and girls teams.Freshman Ema Boateng and junior Spencer McAvoy were the standouts, winning three events on the day.
