Eighteen members of the Santa Barbara Foresters have been selected to play in the California Collegiate League All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 13 at Stengel Field in Glendale.The game will be televised at 6 p.m. on Fox Sports West.Foresters manager Bill Pintard will guide the CCL Americans team against the CCL Nationals, who will be managed by Chai Fanning of the San Luis Obispo Blues. It was a tough day for Santa Barbara Forester pitchers, as Mitch Mormann and Jason Hursh gave up seven runs in the first three innings in a 10-4 loss to the San Luis Obispo Blues in a California Collegiate League baseball game at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium on Friday.It was the second straight loss for the Foresters (9-2) after nine straight wins to start the season.
