Hi Guys! The end of the Quiksilver/Roxy Pro event at Snappers earlier this month was awesome. Taj and Stephanie ended up winning as I'm sure you already know. Burrow takes out Bobby, Gold Coast title

Bobby Martinez's run through the opening contest of the 2010 ASP World Tour ended on Friday as the Santa Barbara native fell to eventual champion Taj Burrow in their semifinal heat.Burrow went on to claim the Quiksilver Pro title at Snapper Rocks in Australia, defeating South Africa's Jordy Smith in the final.Martinez put up a two-wave score of 13.00 to Burrow's 15.67 in the semifinal, surfed in deteriorating conditions at the right-hand point break.“It’s disappointing to … [Read more...]

Bobby Martinez maintained his sixth-place standing on surfing's elite "Dream Tour" after recording an equal 5th place finish in South Africa on Wednesday. Slater clinches another world title in defeat

Santa Barbara’s Bobby Martinez surfed to an equal-fifth place finish on Thursday at the Boost Mobile Pro in San Clemente, losing to eventual champion Kelly Slater in the quarterfinals.Martinez, who moved up in the season standings into the seventh slot with four contests left, earned a two-wave score of 15.16 against Slater’s 17.16.
