Peterson storms into semis in New Zealand

It is Peterson's rookie season on the elite ASP Women's World Championship Tour and after three events she has a very healthy ranking of 6th in the world. If it were not for the giant tubes at Teahupo’o last August, this event in Peniche would have been the best waves on tour all year. Conner Coffin edged in semifinals at Bali World Pro Junior

In an all-American semifinal, Santa Barbara's Conner Coffin lost a closely fought battle with Andrew Doheny of Newport Beach at the Oakley  ASP World Pro Junior Championship in  Bali on Monday.The heat started slow, but finished with a bang. Both surfers had similar scores and it came down to the last exchange.
