Karina Evans is going back to the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament with the University of Delaware.Evans, a sophomore middle blocker from Dos Pueblos, helped the Blue Hens win their second straight Colonial Athletic Association tournament title with a five-set win over Virginia Commonwealth.The Blue Hens trailed 2-1 before winning the last two sets to earn an automatic NCAA Tournament berth. Laguna Blanca's girls volleyball couldn't shake St. Paul in the second round of the Division 4-AA CIF playoffs on Thursday, falling in five sets 18-25, 25-15, 15-25, 25-22, 15-11.Amanda Harvey and Makenzie Scarborough reached double-digit kills for the Owls, who finish their season with an 8-4 record and a Condor League title.
