Santa Barbara High graduate Carson Clark was named the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Men's Volleyball Tournament for leading UC Irvine to a sweep of USC in Saturday night's title match at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.The senior finished his collegiate career in fine fashion, collecting a match-high 22 kills. Four Vaqueros on All-WSC squad

SBCC’s Matt Winslow and Jordon Dyer have been selected first-team All-Western State Conference in men’s volleyball.Winslow, a 6-5 freshman from Clovis, was second in the WSC in kills (189) and third in kills per game (3.50). UC Santa Barbara made very quick work of Hawai'i on Friday night, likely taking out some of its frustrations from a month-long slump on the Warriors.The Gauchos, who had not won since February 25, swept Hawai'i in convincing fashion at The Thunderdome, 25-21, 25-13, 28-26.
