Lauren Stratman claimed the Girls 18 title at the 95th Santa Barbara Summer Junior Tennis Tournament this weekend, defeating Dorothy Tang 6-3, 6-2 in the final.Stratman, from Goleta, made the championship match by defeating doubles partner and No. 1 seed April Scatliffe in the semifinals. Stratman won in three sets for the second time of the tournament, topping Scatliffe 6-4, 0-6, 6-2. After battling through five rounds of opponents this past week in Elk Grove, sophomore Lauren Stratman of Dos Pueblos proved to be unbeatable.Stratman did not drop a single set in the US Tennis Association National Open 16 division.
