BYU becomes UCSB’s third straight victim

In its first home dual match of the year, UCSB upset No. 36 BYU by winning four of six singles matches to capture a 4-2 victory. UCSB takes No. 16 Mississippi State to the limit before losing, 5-2

The UC Santa Barbara men's tennis team dropped its season opener on Friday, losing to No. 16 Mississippi State by a score of 5-2 in Honolulu. The score, however, doesn't tell half the story.The Gauchos pushed the Bulldogs to the limit. Gauchos win 13 of 14 singles matches on Day 2 of UCSB Classic

The second day of the UCSB Classic unfolded in the same manner as the first, with the Gauchos dominating the field, as they captured 13 of 14 singles matches on the day. As a result of this success the final round in all three flights of play (A B & C) will be all Gaucho affairs. UCSB men’s tennis signs top JC player in the country

UCSB men’s tennis has signed Mbonisi Ndimande, the top junior college singles player in the country, to a National Letter of Intent, head coach Marty Davis announced Monday.   Ndiamande, a native of Zimbabwe, is completing his second year at Seminole State Community College in Oklahoma.
