Dos Pueblos squeaks past Calabasas in opener
Lauren Stratman opened her senior season going 3-0 in sets, and Dos Pueblos held off Calabasas, 10-8, in a non-league girls tennis match on Thursday at the Charger courts.Stratman is the three-time Channel League singles champion. Six members of the SBCC women's tennis team have been named to the All-WSC squad, led by Kendra Ross who earned first-team honors at No. 6 singles. Second-team choices in singles included Nicci Yvanovich at No. 2, Amy Sagraves at No. 3 and Meike van Hoogenhuijze at No. 4.
