Carpinteria's Justin Nathanson and Ben Murray fell to Nordhoff's Sam Cortez and Thomas Jeffares in the doubles championship for the Frontier League on Thursday.Jeffares and Cortez took the title in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.The third-place match in the doubles tournament was an all-Carpinteria event. The Bishop Diego doubles team of Andre Kohansamad and Johnny Ford made it to the quarterfinals of the Tri-Valley League Finals before losing to a powerhouse duo from Oaks Christian.The boys tennis team played its final regular season match against Oak Park on Monday and lost 13-5.
