Santa Barbara’s Mattea Klistofte survived a marathon match against Caitlin Mannix of San Marcos and advanced to the Channel League singles final, where she’ll face three-time champion Lauren Stratman of Dos Pueblos.The singles final is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Friday at Knowlwood Tennis Club. Stratman romps into Channel League semifinals

Top-seeded Lauren Stratman of Dos Pueblos rolled into the semifinals of the Channel League Individual Tennis Championships on Tuesday, winning  her first- and second-round matches 6-0, 6-0. Chargers lose on the road

Bishop Diego's Meredith Amspoker and Emilee Kravlin reached the semifinals at the Frontier League Individual Girls Tennis Tournament at Miranda Park in Port Hueneme.The Cardinals were beaten by Carpinteria players. The Cate  girls tennis team lost its opening Condor League match at home  Saturday against Thacher 12-6. The Rams were without the services of two of their top singles players: Marguerite Mannix and Marina Narain).  Mady Snider played at No. 1 singles and cruised through her three sets, losing only one game in her day's effort. Dons go 1-1 at Dana Hills Tournament

Mannix helps San Marcos clinch playoff spot on Senior Day
