Stratman holds down local designated tourney

Lauren Stratman claimed the Girls 18 title at the 95th Santa Barbara Summer Junior Tennis Tournament this weekend, defeating Dorothy Tang 6-3, 6-2 in the final.Stratman, from Goleta, made the championship match by defeating doubles partner and No. 1 seed April Scatliffe in the semifinals. SBCC's Amy Sagraves and Meghan Schaefer lost in the Round of 16 on Friday in the Southern Cal Regional women's tennis tournament at Long Beach City College.
