Sophie Angner posted a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles, helping SBCC to an 8-1 victory at Reedley in the Vaqueros’ season opener. Angner is a freshman from Sweden. BYU becomes UCSB’s third straight victim
In its first home dual match of the year, UCSB upset No. 36 BYU by winning four of six singles matches to capture a 4-2 victory. Warriors’ magical CIF run ends in finals

CLAREMONT - The amazing - and unprecedented - CIF run put together by Carpinteria's girls tennis team came to an end at Monday's CIF-ss championships, as the Warriors fell to Wilson of Hacienda Heights 15-3 in the Division V final.Carpinteria made the finals by coming up with upset after upset during the postseason.
