Dos Pueblos' Chad Lampe and Yaskin Solano advanced to the CIF Masters Meet after placing in Saturday's Southern Section Division 2 tournament.Solano outperformed his eighth seed and finished in third at 170 pounds. Dos Pueblos will face once-beaten Highland in the first round of the CIF Division 4 Wrestling Team Championships at Quartz Hill High on Saturday.The Chargers (11-3) finished second to Ventura in the Channel League. In a dual meet that determined the Channel League Champions, the Dos Pueblos wrestling team was unable to get enough points to beat Ventura.Each team won seven matches, but the Cougars had more pins and took first place in league with a 34-27 win.In the match of the night, freshman Cameron Cox wrestled a student who had dropped weight to 113 pounds, and the Ventura wrestler took an early 3-0 lead.
