Craig making a return trip to the Olympic Games

Santa Barbara High alum Kami Craig will be playing in her second Olympic Games.Craig was one of 13 athletes selected this week to the U.S. women’s water polo team for this summer’s London Olympics. UCSB’s Milne, Haroldson named All-Big West

UCSB's Ruth Milne broke the career saves record this season for the Gauchos.

Juniors Ruth Milne and Shelby Haroldson were named 2012 All-Big West Conference selections it was announced by the league's office today. Milne garnered First Team honors while Haroldson was named to the Second Team.Milne was one of two goalkeepers that received honors from the conference and the only to be named to the All-Big West First Team. Northridge nips Gauchos for 3rd

Gauchos force overtime but fall in Big West semis

Gaucho win on the first day of Big West Tournament

The Gauchos kicked off the Big West Conference Tournament on a beautiful afternoon in Davis, California. UCSB clinched a win against Pacific this evening at UC Davis Schaal Aquatics Center, 9-5.The Gauchos took control in the first quarter, when they scored three unanswered goals by Pacific. STOCKTON - No. 15 UCSB (19-13, 3-2) defeated Pacific (10-16, 2-3) earlier this morning, 8-7. The Gauchos opened up the game with two back-to-back goals. Santa Barbara water polo fans will get a preview of Olympic competition before this summer’s London Games on Thursday night.The United States men’s national team is playing reigning world champion Italy in an exhibition match at the Elings Aquatic Center at Dos Pueblos High.
