The San Marcos track team had an impressive showing in its home meet against Ventura, but lost in the both the girls and boys meets."We competed with a very talented Ventura team," head coach Marilyn Hantgin said. Fasth’s four wins not enough for Dons

Collin Fasth won four events in Santa Barbara High's track meet against Buena, but the boys team was edged out 65-62 by the Bulldogs, while the girls lost 85-41.Fasth set personal bests in the 200 meters with a time of 23.33 seconds and the 400 meters (52.52). Dos Pueblos' track team endured a Saturday full of rain but saw a school record fall on Friday at this weekend's Nike Redondo Track Festival.Addi Zerrenner bested the record in the 3200 set by Erin Campbell in 2011. Kelsey Drain won the 100 meters, 100 meter hurdles and the long jump in Carpinteria's dual meet with Fillmore on Thursday.The Carpinteria boys won 76-60 and the girls took their meet 69-61.
