MONTEREY PARK  – The UCSB swimming and diving team finished second at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships, which concluded on Saturday night at East Los Angeles College.During the four-day affair, UCSB won 10 event titles, set five new meet records and broke six school records.UCSB captured its first win of the day in the 200 breaststroke. UCSB's women swimmers will head south for the second Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship this Wednesday through Saturday. On yet another beautiful Saturday at Campus Pool, the UCSB swimming and diving teams closed out their 2011-12 dual meet schedule with a pair of wins over visiting Cal Poly.The men posted a 163-124 victory and improved their record to 6-0, marking the first undefeated dual season in program history. The women, meanwhile, won their fourth straight dual by way of a 169-129 score and finish the year with a 6-3 record. The UCSB women's swimming and diving team captured its second dual win in as many days on Saturday as the Gauchos defeated UC Davis, 162-138, at the Aggies' Schaal Aquatics Center.UCSB won 10 of 16 events during the meet on its way to its third consecutive meet win. The UCSB swim teams collected a pair of dual meet wins on Friday afternoon at Pacific.
