UCSB was unable to match-up with No. 4 UCLA on Wednesday as the Gauchos fell twice to the Bruins during their 2010 home opener at Campus Diamond. Fueled by the offense of the Cannon twins, SBCC opened its softball season with a 24-run eruption on Saturday in a sweep of Foothill at Pershing Park.
