Dons have solid day at Clovis Invitational

Briggs Deardorff of the Santa Barbara High cross country squad finished 36th out of 201 runners in the large school boys varsity division of the Clovis Invitational Saturday, running the 5K course in 16:24. The Santa Barbara and Dos Pueblos cross country teams headed to the Pepperdine Invitational on Saturday to compete on what both coaches Olivia Perdices and Leslie Wiggins-Roth labeled as "a college-level course." The Charger girls finished fourth while the boys were 10th.  SAN LUIS OBISPO — Paige Colijn was the top finisher for SBCC in the Cuesta Invitational on Saturday, taking ninth place in cross country race.
