Third-ranked Azusa Pacific women's soccer (8-1, 3-0 GSAC) paid a visit to Russ Carr Field on Tuesday afternoon where they picked up a 2-0 Golden State Athletic Conference victory over the Warriors of Westmont (3-6-1, 2-2 GSAC). Westmont men's soccer suffered another Golden State Athletic Conference loss on Tuesday, losing 2-0 in Santa Clarita to the Mustangs of The Master's College (5-0-2, 1-0-1). Westmont was out shot 15-3 with the Master's scoring one goal in each half. The lost drops Westmont to 0-2 in conference play and 3-4 overall. It was high drama at Russ Carr field on Saturday afternoon.Westmont's 23rd-ranked men's soccer squad opened Golden State Athletic Conference play with a heartbreaking 2-1 loss on a Vanguard breakaway with just 1:15 left in the second overtime. Then the women took the field, having lost three consecutive games by a one-goal margin. Westmont Men’s Soccer, ranked at number 23 in the NAIA, defeated the Cougars of San Marcos (3-5-1) by a score of 1-0 at Russ Carr Field on Wednesday afternoon.
