 FRESNO — Facing its third straight tough opponent on Tuesday afternoon, SBCC weathered a hot day (over 100 degrees) and rallied to post its third straight women's soccer tie, 1-1, at Fresno City. Iris Torres took advantage of a defensive error to put the Rams (5-1-1, No. 4 in nation) ahead in the 35th minute.    FRESNO — After scoring 13 goals in two wins last week, SBCC was shut out 4-0 by Fresno City in a non-conference men's soccer game on Tuesday. The Rams, ranked No. 8 in California, improved to 5-1-3 while the Vaqueros fell to 4-2.   Fresno took a 3-0 lead with two late goals in the first half on a warm day with the temperature in triple digits.    SBCC scored three goals in the first 25 minutes Tuesday night and went on to blitz Cypress 8-0 in a nonconference men’s soccer match at La Playa Stadium.   Mark Knight had two goals and two assists for the Vaqueros (3-1).    Freshman Shannon Lynott scored in the 44th minute and Laura Spivack added one in the 70th for the Vaqueros, who dominated possession in a nonconference game against L.A. Mission at La Playa Stadium.   Riverside scored in the 81st and 87th minute on Friday night at La Playa Stadium to hand SBCC its first men's soccer loss.   The Vaqueros (2-1) had several scoring chances with Mark Knight missing an open net in the 49th minute and Sekou Rolland getting stopped on a point-blank chance in the 81st minute.   "We had a lot of chances, we just couldn't finish," said SBCC coach John Sisterson.
