Gaucho soccer to play game in support of Haiti

The UCSB men’s soccer team is doing its part to help earthquake victims in Haiti.
The Gauchos will play Mexico’s Under-20 national team in a charity match on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at Harder Stadium. Portions of the proceeds from the match will help benefit the Haiti earthquake relief efforts.

The UCSB men’s soccer team had five players named to the Far West All-Region teams it was announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Senior Martin Hedevag earned Far West All-Region First Team honors while junior Sam Hayden, sophomore Michael Tetteh, sophomore Danny Barrera and sophomore Luis Silva also earned accolades from the NSCAA.
