Cate School's Ema Boateng has been named the Gatorade California Boys Soccer Player of the Year, it was announced on Tuesday.Boateng led the Rams to a Southern Section CIF championship in March. The U14 Girls white team had an incredible State Cup run scoring 24 goals for and only giving up 4 over their 7 games streak leading to the finals.In the finals, the U14G team was in a defensive battle with NC-Boca.
