COLUMBUS, Ohio – Junior Kevin Ferguson posted a career best time of 20.11 seconds in the 50 freestyle on Thursday evening to highlight day one action at the 2010 AT&T Short Course National Championships at Ohio State’s Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatics Pavilion.Ferguson swam the preliminary heat in 20.30 seconds, matching his time from the Arena Invitational two weeks ago in Long Beach. Santa Barbara girls soccer coach Brian Lloyd saw improvement in his team in Thursday’s 1-1 tie against visiting Oxnard.“We’re playing better than our results,” Lloyd said after his team’s record went to 0-2-1. “We’re playing good competition.
