She wasn’t having her best day of throwing, but Dos Pueblos sophomore Stamatia Scarvelis kept her composure and uncorked a mark of 45-3 to win the Division 2 shot put title at the CIF Divisional Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Mt. The Carpinteria baseball team was inches away from forcing extra innings, but ended up losing 1-0 at Malibu.
